Park Township, Mich. — According to the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office a second suspect was taken into custody on related charges in connection with the murder of Jose Hernandez.
19-yr-old Anthony Alfredo de la Garza was arrested for lying to investigators in a murder investigation.
Garza has not been charged in the murder of Hernandez but was Arraigned on January 17 on obstruction charges.
Garza has a bond of $250,000.
Jose Hernandez was found dead from blunt force trauma to the head in the parking lot of the apartment complex where he lived.
He was found on the ground January 6 covered in snow, while his car was still running beside him.
