WEST MICHIGAN — (FOX 17) — The combination of afternoon snow and temperatures dropping below freezing could result in some slick spots on some of the untreated roads. A look at current temperatures as of 8:20pm Tuesday shows most areas are below freezing. Because the road salt washed off due to the recent rains, there could be some icy patches.
More snow is on the way to West Michigan later tonight and into Wednesday morning. This map shows the counties that are under a winter weather advisory until 1PM Wednesday:
An additional three to five inches of snow is possible in these areas, with lesser amounts inland.
I don’t anticipate too many problems in the morning, but make sure you watch FOX 17 Morning News, starting at 5am, for an update on the roads and the weather.
