WEST MICHIGAN — Temperatures will warm through Sunday afternoon into the upper 30’s and low 40’s. Winds will pick up this afternoon as temperatures warm, with sustained winds of 20 miles per hour and gusts near 30.
Clear skies through the overnight will give way to cloud cover and eventually a rain/snow mix early Monday. Temperatures Monday morning will likely be a few degrees either above or below freezing allowing for a rain/snow mix to be possible.
Throughout the day temperatures are expected to warm slightly allowing for more rain to mix in before cold air eventually takes over in late afternoon transitioning all precipitation over to wet snow.
Temperatures will continue to drop through the overnight and more snow chances return Tuesday as a passing system will bring chances for light snow to develop across West Michigan. Snow accumulations should be light with 1 to 3 inches possible Monday and Tuesday.
