KENT COUNTY, Mich.- Road crews are out in full force battling this dangerous winter storm.
The Kent County Road Commission says they have every truck out clearing the roads. That’s the plan for the next few days.
Right now, crews are mainly focused on scraping the snow off roads, because it is accumulating so quickly.
Snow plows are also dropping a mixture of salt and sand on the roads.
Michigan State Police say they have already responded to several weather related crashes and slid offs. They advise staying off the roads unless you absolutely must go out.
