WEST MICHIGAN — Happy New Year! It’s been a cold and snowy New Year’s Eve for most of us, and it looks like it will be the same on New Year’s Day– for most of us.
This image from our in-house computer model, Future Tracks, shows snowfall accumulation through Thursday morning. Areas along and north of I-96 will see the least amount of snow, while areas along and south of I-94 will have the most. In some cases, over six inches.
The counties along the Indiana border are under a winter weather advisory until just after Midnight Wednesday night.
Where there aren’t clouds and snow, some areas to the north will drop below zero the next couple of nights. This is a look at Wednesday morning:
