KALAMAZOO County, Mich. — The Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office is on the scene of a shooting in the Comstock Village Apartments. That’s located in Comstock Township.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety and Kalamazoo Township Police also responded.
In a press release, the sheriff’s office said a man was shot in the chest. That victim ran to another apartment.
The office said rescue and ambulance personnel treated the man at the scene and then transported him to a local hospital. The man is said to be in critical yet stable condition.
The suspect got away and is still being sought.
