HICKORY CORNERS, Mich. – The Fine Lake community in Barry County’s Johnstown Township remained without power Christmas night after losing electricity late Saturday.
Some people are lucky enough to have generators for the basic necessities, but others aren’t so lucky.
As of late Wednesday evening, 42 percent of all Consumers Energy customers in Barry County, or 12,000 homes and businesses, were without electricity.
As of this writing, the Consumers Energy power map showed the Fine Lake community will not have power restored until 11:30 Friday evening.
