GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Two motorists were injured in a two-vehicle crash that ended with a car striking a house on Christmas Eve.
At 1 p.m. Tuesday, the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an accident with injuries at the intersection of 28th and Baldwin in Georgetown Township.
Deputies said Ryan King, 26, of Jenison was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox northbound on 28th when he failed to stop for the intersection and struck a vehicle broadside that was driven by Stefani Harris, 25, of Newaygo, who was eastbound on Baldwin.
Harris’ vehicle then hit a house at the northeast corner of the intersection.
King was transported by Life Ambulance to a local hospital where he was treated for his injuries. Harris sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene.
Neither car contained passengers.
Deputies said a medical condition may have been a factor and that alcohol was not a factor in the crash.
