WASHINGTON, D.C. – A man wearing a Santa Claus suit was shot by a pellet gun on the southeast side of Washington, D.C. Tuesday afternoon.
He was shot in the back, said a photographer with WJLA-TV. According to the television station, witnesses reportedly heard two shots from a nearby building. It happened during a toy giveaway. The station said the man playing the Grinch came to the rescue.
