Nearly 70,000 Still Powerless Across West Michigan

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The latest Consumers Energy numbers show progress as it works to restore power to thousands of people following the worst ice storm in 10 years.

There were still 193,000 Consumers Energy customers in Michigan without service as of 4pm, according to its website.  In West Michigan, nearly 70,000 were waiting for waiting for power to be restored.
