FRUITLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich – Sheriff’s deputies in Muskegon County are still trying to identify the person who opened fire during a weekend party in Fruitland Township, killing one person and injuring three others.
Tonight, one person is in custody, but investigators say they don’t believe that individual is the shooter.
Deputies say they are trying to track down everyone who attended the party to conduct interviews.
Gary Ogreen, 21, and a graduate of Reeths-Puffer High School in 2011, was killed.
Julius Pamer, 22, was shot in back. He was treated and released from the hospital.
Nicholas Gifford, 23, was shot in the leg. His condition has been upgraded from serious to fair condition.
Cody Sharlow, 19, was shot in the stomach and hip. Sharlow has also had his condition upgraded, from critical to fair condition.
