PAW PAW, Mich. — Child Protective Services is investigating a child left in a car outside a grocery store Monday morning.
At 10 a.m., the Paw Paw Police Department responded to a report of a child left in a car in below-freezing conditions outside the Family Fare store at 847 S. Kalamazoo St. in Paw Paw.
Police told FOX 17 NEWS that the person responsible for the child returned to the car 10 minutes later and the child was fine.
Child Protective Services is investigating and it will be up to the Van Buren County Prosecutor’s Office whether charges are filed.
