ALGOMA TOWNSHIP, Mich- A metal storage barn is a complete loss after a fire Sunday morning in Algoma Township.
According to fire officials at the scene, the fire happened at 2020 17 Mile Rd. NE where a pellet stove caught fire inside the barn and then spread to the rest of the barn and a vehicle parked inside.
The barn and the vehicle are both total losses. Fire crews were able to keep the fire away from a camper and a Subaru that were parked next to the barn.
There were no injuries reported.
