Wyoming Police Looking For Suspect In Strong Armed Robbery

WYOMING,Mich. — According to the Wyoming Police Department At approximately 12:44 a.m. on December 6 police responded to the report of a strong armed robbery that had just occurred at the Speedway gas station located at 1300 Burton St. SW.

The clerk told police that he was at the cash register when the male suspect approached him from behind and grabbed him around the neck with both hands. The suspect reportedly ordered the clerk to open the register and when he complied, the suspect grabbed an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the store on foot, running southeast through the parking lot.

The suspect is described as a white male, 20-25 years old, medium build, dark hair and faint dark facial hair. The suspect was last seen wearing a black or dark blue shirt with two thick horizontal stripes on the chest, tan pants, dark shoes and navy blue stocking cap.

Investigators are requesting assistance from the public in identifying the suspect.
