MIDDLEVILLE, Mich. — Dive teams performed a water search Friday behind Middleville City Hall on Main Street.
Barry County Sheriff’s Department intially thought a man may have fallen through the ice after they found a large hole and abandoned fishing gear.
More than an hour later they determined that a man had fallen through the ice and left his belongings behind while he went home.
