Chicago Snaps Griffins Win Streak

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — As the old saying goes, you can’t win them all.

The Chicago Wolves topped the Grand Rapids Griffins 4-2 Wednesday night at Van Andel Arena. The loss snapped the Griffins’ seven-game winning streak and it’s eight-game home-winning streak.

Jeff Hoggan (8th) and Riley Sheahan (6th) were the goal scorers for the Griffins. Thomas McCollum took the loss in net, making 22 saves on 26 shots. The Griffins host Milwaukee for a back-to-back games in Grand Rapids starting Friday.
