WEST MICHIGAN – There has been plenty of snow here on Monday, and it looks like it’s going to be even heavier on Tuesday downwind of Lake Michigan.

There is a winter weather advisory in effect from 9AM Tuesday until 7PM Tuesday for areas along and west of U.S. 131. This includes Kent, Newaygo, Oceana, Muskegon, Ottawa, Allegan, and Van Buren Counties. Accumulations on Tuesday will easily be 4 to 6 inches in some of these areas. In addition, gusty winds will produce blowing snow and reduced visibility.

The snow will continue off and on right into next week. For the latest forecast, join us on FOX 17 News. For a look at radar, temperatures, or wind chill, visit the weather page athttp://www.fox17online.com/weather
