KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Two people were arrested Friday after an armed robbery at a Kalamazoo convenience store.
The suspects, ages 22 and 45, allegedly robbed the Sunny Mart on S. Westnedge Avenue at gunpoint.
Kalamazoo Police responded to the scene at approximately 1:11 p.m., and then tracked the suspects to Hill Top apartments on S. Burdick Street. They were able to quickly track down the suspects because of information from the clerk, according to a release.
Two firearms and money stolen during the robbery were found at the apartment complex, the release said. The suspects are in Kalamazoo County jail awaiting formal charges.
