IONIA COUNTY, Mich. — Two fundraising efforts are planned to raise money to rebuild the Whites Bridge.
A euchre tournament is scheduled Dec. 21 at Steele Street Hall, 115 S Steele St. in Ionia. The entry fee is $8, and food and beverages will be available for purchase.
The second fundraising effort is a membership-based club selling plaques inside the new bridge and other memorabilia. Membership is $1 annually. For a full list of memorabilia and pricing, click here.
The covered bridge in Keene Township burned down July 7, and investigators determined the cause was arson.
