ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. — A 35-year-old man was charged Monday in the fatal Allegan County crash that killed his 1-year-old daughter.
Chadwick Solheid faces a charge of operating while intoxicated causing death for the Nov. 23 incident in Gun Plains Township.
The one-car crash happened just before 1 p.m. after Soldheid went across the center line on 10th Street and struck a tree just north of Baseline Road. His daughter was taken to the hospital and later died from her injuries.
Solheid has had his license suspended several times, the most recent of which ended in May 2009.
