ADA TOWNSHIP, Mich.- The woman who was hit Friday night at Fulton Street near Kulross Avenue has been identified.
Michigan State Police say she is 41-year-old Tina Simmons of Ada.
Witnesses say a vehicle was going west on Fulton Street and hit Simmons as she crossed the road around 6:30 p.m. Friday. Simmons was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the vehicle wasn’t hurt.
Troopers say the driver of the vehicle stopped and was identified so they won’t be facing any charges.
