WEST MICHIGAN- The slick roads Saturday Morning caused multiple accidents on West Michigan roadways.

Police and Sheriff Departments have been responding to mostly slide-offs and minor accidents due to the lake-effect snow that fell overnight covering the roads with a thin layer of snow.

There was a rollover accident in Allegan County on I-196, near the US-31 interchange where one person had to be extricated from a vehicle after it slid off the highway and rolled in the median.

Michigan State Police tell FOX 17 that drivers need to slow down in these snowy weather conditions and especially when emergency vehicle are on the scene of accidents.

With all of the accidents Saturday morning, no serious injuries have been reported.
