NORTHON SHORES, Mich. — A 32-year-old shooting victim fled Hackley Hospital Sunday wearing only a hospital gown.

Norton Shores police say that that man was found with gunshot wounds to his right side and the back of his head after a Saturday incident at the Baymont Inn, 4677 Harvey St.  He is wanted on unrelated warrants, and fled the hospital before being medically released.

Investigators are also seeking two suspects in that hotel shooting, which happened at around 8:10 p.m. Nov. 16.  Witnesses told police that a man and woman fled the scene after an argument with the victim in a first-floor room led to several gunshots being fired.

The shooter was described by police as a black male in his mid-twenties with a thin build who is about 6 feet tall.  He was accompanied by a Hispanic female, also in her mid-twenties, who was about 5 feet 3 inches tall and roughly 160 lbs.  They were last seen heading westbound on Hile Road in a light-colored sedan, according to a press release.

No names or photos of the suspects have been released.

Anyone with information on this incident or the suspects should contact Norton Shores police at 231-733-2691 or Silent Observer at 231-722-7463.
