GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Artist Gurmej Singh, who has been kicked out of ArtPrize the past two years, was awarded a Guinness World Record.
His 11,302-foot painting, “The Transcendental,” is now considered the world’s longest. It was banned from being presented in ArtPrize this year because it was much longer than initially intended.
However, he chose to display it without permission so it could be officially measured by Guinness officials, according to MLive.
