 EMMETT TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Harper Creek Schools administration building and middle school were on lock down early on November 6 as a precautionary measure due to a threat that was made against the staff and administration of the Schools by a parent. |
The lockdown was cancelled around 10:30 am.The suspect that made the threats to warrant the lock down has been identified and is in custody by Emmett DPS Officers. The Battle Creek Resident was taken to the Calhoun County Jail without incident and will be held pending arraignment.
Emmett DPS was assisted by the Michigan State Police and the Battle Creek Police Department.
