WEST MICHIGAN — (FOX 17) — After a couple of days with high temperatures well into the 50s, it’s going to be noticeably cooler for the next few days.
This image from our in-house computer model, Future Track, shows temperatures late Thursday afternoon only in the 40s. Because there will be some precipitation, there could be a rain/snow mix and not just rain. No snow accumulation is expected.
The cold air came very quickly Wednesday afternoon. Here is a look at hour-by-hour temperatures in Grand Rapids:
- 2pm: 57
- 3pm: 56
- 4pm: 50
- 5pm: 47
- 6pm: 45
In other words, the temperature dropped 12 degrees in just four hours.
