ALLEGAN COUNTY, Mich. — Tuesday, a majority of the 1,068 voters in Saugatuck and Douglas voted ‘No’ to a proposed consolidation.
In Douglas, the proposal received 385 ‘No’ votes 226 ‘Yes’ votes. There were 265 ‘No’ and 192 ‘Yes’ in Saugatuck.
FOX 17 talked with voters both for and against the consolidation last week.
