63-Year-Old Battle Creek Man Severely Injured After Hit And Run

Battle Creek Police File PhotoBATTLE CREEK, Mich. — According to the Battle Creek Police Department officers responded to the report of a hit and run accident on Dickman Road at Capital Avenue southwest at 10:13 a.m. on November 5.

The pedestrian was located in the westbound lane of Dickman Road west of Capital Avenue. The subject recieved severe injuries and was transported to Borgess Hospital by Lifecare Ambulance. The victim is a 63-year-old Battle Creek resident. His name is being withheld for family notification.

The fleeing vehicle is described as a grey or black SUV, possibly a late 90’s to early 2000 Jeep Grand Cherekee. The SUV Should have damage to the passenger front fender and is missing the passenger side review mirror.
