WALKER, Mich.- Walker Police say one man is dead Friday after he was hit around 10:30 p.m. on Wilson Avenue at Chesterfield Drive.
Police say it happened when the man tried to cross Wilson Ave. and was struck by a vehicle going north on Wilson. Police say after the man was hit, he landed in the middle of the road. Officers say the man was then ran over again by a second vehicle also going north on Wilson Ave.
Police say when the man was hit by the second car, he was stuck underneath and dragged. The second vehicle continued on Wilson, turned on Remembrance Road and then turned again on Johnson Street. After the car made that final turn, the man became unstuck.
