MATTAWAN, Mich- One person is dead after their vehicle struck a tree Friday night outside of Mattawan.
According to the Michigan State Police, the crash happened at the intersection of Q Ave. and Van Kal Ave. The driver was travelling eastbound on Q Ave. when the driver lost control of their vehicle and struck a tree.
The driver was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene.
This crash remains under investigation.
