Muskegon Police cruiserMUSKEGON, Mich. — Two men were arrested Wednesday night after a hot tub party at a Muskegon home turned violent.

According to Muskegon Chief Assistant Prosecutor Timothy Maat, the brawl happened just after 9:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Calvin Avenue.

Michael Andrew Ball, 42, allegedly punched a 52-year-old man in the head after he saw him engaging in sexual activity with the female resident.  Then, the woman’s 16-year-old son came home, saw the incident and also allegedly assaulted the 52-year-old.

A police report indicates that the son “found his mom in the hot tub with a bunch of naked people and was not OK with it.”

The woman’s son and Ball were both arrested.  Ball is in the Muskegon County Jail on an assault and battery charge, according to Maat.  It was unclear if any charges were pending against the 16-year-old.
