WYOMING,Michigan. — At approximately 5pm on October 18, the Wyoming Police Department responded to a bank robbery at the Fifth Third Bank located at 62 54th Street SW.
Witnesses report that one male suspect entered the bank and handed the teller a note demanding cash. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash, the suspect fled the bank on a dark-colored bicycle in an unknown direction. There were no injuries and no weapon was seen.
The suspect is described as a thin, white male in his early 20’s. He was reportedly wearing a tan or brown hooded sweatshirt, blue baseball cap and blued jeans. According to witnesses, he appeared to be unshaven or “scruffy”. Surveillance photos obtained from the bank are shown above. Wyoming Police detectives continue to assist the FBI with their investigation into the robbery.
