WYOMING, Mich. — According to the Wyoming Police Department just after 12pm on October 18 police responded to an armed robbery at the Community West Credit Union located at 2757 44th Street SW.
Witnesses report that one male suspect, armed with a handgun, entered the bank and demanded money from the clerk. After obtaining an undisclosed amount of cash the suspect then fled on foot north from the bank carrying a dark-colored back-pack. There were no injuries.
The suspect is described as a black male, possibly in his early 20’s, 6’1-6-2”, wearing a dark-colored sweatshirt with a light gray hood and long, white athletic shorts.
Wyoming Police detectives continue to assist the FBI with their investigation into the robbery.
