BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – The two-year-old girl who was found after spending the night alone in the Manistee National Forest was released from a Mecosta County hospital.
Amber Rose Smith was released from the Mecosta County Medical Center. She is back home with her family. FOX 17’s Jennifer Dowling met with the two-year-old and her family Friday. You can see the interview tonight on FOX 17 News at 5:00.
An Amber Alert was issued this week after the child went missing from her home in rural Newaygo County. During a massive search, she was discovered the next day about two miles from her home.
