PORTAGE, Mich. — The man who was struck by a vehicle and killed Sunday after running from Portage police during a traffic stop has been identified as Aaron Lee Tobias.
Tobias, 30, was pulled over at 10:49 p.m. on eastbound I-94. He fled from police on foot and hopped over the median, where he was struck by a vehicle and killed. The case remains under investigation by Michigan State Police.
