KALAMAZOO, Mich.- It’s down to the final five in a contest to name a new baseball team in Kalamazoo. The top 5 names are up on their websitefor fans to vote on.
The Final Five are the Cabbies, the Clutch, the Growlers, the Kangaroos, and the Krakens.
There are prizes for people who entered the contest:
-50 winners will get 2 tickets to the 2014 home opener
-25 winners will receive official Kalamazoo Baseball caps
– The Final Five will get 5 tickets to the 2014 home opener on the party deck and 5 official Kalamazoo Baseball hats
– The grand prize winner will get season tickets for life along with an authentic jersey, official game hat, and get to throw out the 1st pitch at the home opener.
