HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A car rear-ended a semi early Friday morning, sending three people to the hospital with unknown injuries.
According to deputies, the accident happened on northbound US-31 at Felch Street at around 2:34 a.m. Emergency crews had to extricate three victims from the car. The male driver suffered serious injuries, and he was wearing his seat belt. A woman in the front seat was listed in good condition, and she was also wearing a seat belt. The woman in the back seat was also listed in good condition, but was not wearing her seat belt.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
