HOLLAND, Mich- Engedi Church of Holland enjoyed their first day in a new building. Church members had been meeting in a vacant store front at the Cedar Village Shopping Plaza when they got a gift, that gift was an old k-mart store donated to the church by the owners in New York and now they are thrilled to have their new location.
Inside the building that is also a part of the same old shopping center, there is 110 thousand sq feet of space to use. That space includes a large lobby and greeting area, along with the church offices. There is a youth space, a gym and an indoor skate park along with a state of the art childrens area…all under one roof. The sanctuary is set up with a stage surrounded by seats on all sides.
Pastor Brian Aulick is excited to have his congregation in their new digs. “I think our heart from the beginning is to be an agent of restoration in this community so for us this space is just an opportunity to extend that mission really of restoration and the rest of the world” The building will be officially dedicated in October.
