MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich.- A group of art students at Edgewood Elementary have entered one of the world’s largest art competitions.
Along with teacher Jerry Berta the students entered “The United Faces of America, “ a map of the United States created with different found objects and then painted. Berta created the project with his art class before deciding that he should enter it into the competition.
The piece can be found at Sixth Street Bridge Park, just south of the bridge on Monroe Avenue. ArtPrize runs through Oct. 6.
