KALAMAZOO, Mich. — An 18-year-old was shot Wednesday afternoon while allegedly breaking into a Stockbridge Street home.
The person showed up at Bronson Hospital with a serious gunshot wound after several reports of gunfire came in from the 900 block of Stockbridge just before 4:25 p.m. Kalamazoo Public Safety says that the resident told them he shot one of the several suspects that had broken into his home. The gunshot victim’s injuries are considered serious, but non-life threatening.
