17-Year-Old Held on $500,000 Bond in Connection With Kentwood Shooting

KENTWOOD, Mich. — The 17-year-old suspect in a Kentwood shooting from late August is being held on a $500,000 bond after being arrested September 17.

Zebulon Timothy Nester of Sparta is accused of shooting a  22-year-old in the 900 Block of Diane Street SE in Kentwood August 24.   He is currently being held on charges of assault with intent to rob, assault with a dangerous weapon, and felony firearm possession.

Police initially issued an arrest warrant for him on those charges August 26.
