KENT COUNTY, Mich. — A condo association has a huge mess on its hands, after an 18-year-old driver reportedly backed his car into a series of connected garage units.

It happened just before midnight on Sunday night, in the 6600 block of Northland Drive NE. The Kent County Sheriff’s Department says the Rockford man accidentally backed his Oldsmobile Alero into the garages.

“The impact appeared to have compromised the structural integrity of the garage units,” according to the Sheriff’s Department. Therefore, the vehicle is still there, and can’t be removed yet.

The condo association is now taking steps with their insurance company to remove the vehicle safely.

No one was hurt, and alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
