BELDING, Mich. – A news conference is scheduled at 2:00pm following a late-morning development which included emergency crews along the banks of the Flat River.
Police officers put up police tape at the corner of a Ashfield and Morton Streets in Belding to search for 10-year-old Devon Morrison.
Investigators would not comment to a FOX 17 crew on the scene except to say a news conference would be held at 2 p.m. Dive teams were called to the area, but were seen leaving at around 1 p.m.
Ten-year-old Devon Morrison of Belding lives with a mild form of autism, according to an aunt. Devon was last seen Saturday. Search teams were out over the weekend and into Monday morning looking for any evidence that could lead to his whereabouts. The FBI was also called in to look at the case. An Amber Alert was not issued after he went missing.
