GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Sunshine will gradually return to West Michigan Monday, but temperatures will only improve slightly on the chilly readings from the past weekend.
Clouds and a little bit of spotty drizzle were still hanging on early Monday morning, but with drier air working to erode the moisture and cloud cover during the day. Low clouds become increasingly stubborn this time of year when the sun angle starts to decrease, but we should get back to clearing by Monday afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the mid 60s.
High pressure will keep things very quiet during the day Tuesday, but with a very chilly start to the morning. Some patchy frost will again be possible north of Grand Rapids. Temperatures will climb back to around 70° in the afternoon.
Our next chance of rain will come with a surge of warmer air late Wednesday or early Thursday. You can see that and the rest of the 7 Day Forecast on the Weather page.
