Rain Moving Across West Michigan Sunday

Posted

WEST MICHIGAN — Light to moderate rain is moving across West Michigan this morning in advance of a cold front that will be moving through the region this afternoon and evening. Rain chances will continue throughout the day as multiple rounds of showers will be possible. Rain will be fairly spotty with some areas seeing heavier rains while others may just see a few sprinkles. The entire state however will see on and off chances for rain throughout Sunday afternoon.

Temperatures will remain cool ahead of the front thanks to rain and cloud cover. Afternoon high temperatures Sunday will only reach into the low to mid 60’s. Once the cold front moves through Sunday evening northerly winds will usher in cool and dry air for Monday morning allowing for sunshine and cooler temperatures by Monday afternoon.

Sunshine sticks around for the first half of the work week as temperatures start a warming trend. By mid-week temperatures will be up in the lower 80’s before a late week cold front brings back rain chances and more fall-like temperatures.
