Motorcycle Ride To Benefit Trooper Butterfield

Posted

KENTWOOD, Mich- A memorial continued today as dozens of motorcyclists hit the pavement for the third annual Project Red, White and Blue Run.
This ride, which was already planned, would be in memory of Michigan State Police Trooper Paul Butterfield. The ride started at Boondox Motorsports on 28th Street in Kentwood this morning.

Trooper Butterfield was shot Monday evening during a traffic stop. He was laid to rest on Saturday.

Project Red, White and Blue is a non-profit that supports police, fire, and military families.

A donor has offered to match whatever is raised from today’s event.
