091413lowsWEST MICHIGAN — Temperatures fell overnight and this morning around West Michigan allowing for some areas to see their first frost of the season. Clear skies and calm winds made for an ideal night for temperatures to drop into the 30’s and 40’s. Some areas like Baldwin and Leota dropped into the upper 20’s for a few hours. The cool temperatures this morning made West Michigan the coolest place in America with temperatures almost 10 to 15 degrees cooler than some cities across the country including some towns in Alaska.

Dry air in place over the region however will allow for temperatures to warm quickly throughout the late morning and early afternoon with high temperatures reaching into the mid to upper 60’s. Temperatures Saturday night will stay more mild as clouds build in ahead of another cold front that will bring rain chances into West Michigan Sunday afternoon.
