KALAMAZOO, Mich. — The giant Western Michigan University flag that was stolen last week was found intact, according to campus security.
The flag was returned Friday by ROTC students who found it during field exercise. Officials say it will not be immediately returned to its pole because the hoist wire was damaged when it was stolen and a new one needs to be specially ordered.
