Infants’ Motrin Being Recalled

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- Johnson and Johnson is recalling thousands of bottles of infants’ motrin after the possibility of plastic pieces being in it.

Concentrated Motrin Infants’ Drops Original Berry Flavor 1/2 fl oz bottles are being voluntarily recalled by the company. This recall comes after a fourth batch of the medicine was made in the factory and found to have the plastic pieces in it. The pieces are about the size of a poppy seed. The batch with the plastic pieces was not released to stores. Lots numbers of the recalled medicine are DCB3T01, DDB4R01, and DDB4S01.

The company says there are no side effects to worry about with this medicine but if you do have it throw it out.

Concentrated infants’ Motrin Drops Dye-Free Berry Flavor 1fl. oz bottles are not included in the recall. Children’s and Adult Motrin are also safe to use.
