GEORGETOWN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Jenison Christian School was put on lock down Wednesday after staff members heard several loud popping noises outside the building.
After investigating, Ottawa County deputies located a 19-year-old Jenison man lighting off fireworks near the school. Students and staff were never in any danger, according to deputies, and the lock down was part of the school’s procedure.
